Transfer Students

Is it a good idea to go to county college for 2 years and then transfer to a 4 year school?
"I think it is a great idea for a few reasons. 1. It is a big relief for you or your parents when it comes to money because it is cheaper. 2. The quality of the education is really good at CCM. It is one of the top community colleges in the nation and the courses are the same as at 4 year schools. 3. Mostly every credit will be transferable to your next school of choice." - Karl Pappacena (JTHS '12)

When you transfer do they take all of your credits?
"This depends on where you transfer to and from. If you get your associates at a county school like I did, all state schools have to take your credits. This means that they will take 60 credits. It does not mean that they will apply to the same classes." -Emily Nimmo (JTHS '09)
